Vitamin E oil has amazing benefits for the skin. It is not only found in several anti-ageing lotions but is also really good for your hair. Vitamin E prevents the skin's collagen from breaking and also prevents the appearance of stretch marks. Many lotions that prevent stretch marks and are used during pregnancy contain Vitamin E oil. Massage the affected area with a few drops of Vitamin E oil every day and within a few days you will notice a change. If you do not find pure Vitamin E oil, you can opt for sweet almond oil or olive oil instead as they contain Vitamin E. Make sure you massage well so that your skin absorbs the oil.

Lemon juice is another effective remedy to fade away stretch marks on the skin. Lemons have a natural bleaching property that can help lighten the skin and in the marks too in the process. The acidic nature of lemons further add to the effect. All you need to do is squeeze the juice of a lemon or two depending on the area you need to use it on. Now take a cotton ball, dip it in the juice and then apply it on the stretch marks. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. You can apply body lotion if your skin feels too stretched and dry.

You will have to use it on a regular basis, preferably twice a week to see a change in a few days. One thing to remember when using lemon juice is to protect the area from direct sun exposure as that can darken the skin. Just like the white of an egg is effective in giving your body protein, it is also useful in lightening marks by making your skin healthy and supple. You will be amazed by the results of this remedy so without making a face, utilize its benefits.

Take the whites of two eggs and whip them together to form a paste. Now apply this on the stretch marks and leave it to dry. One dried, wash it off with lukewarm water and pat the area dry. Do this at least once a week to see visible results.

Aloe is a wonderful beauty ingredient that soothes the skin from the outside and heals it from the inside. It is used in several cosmetic products and the best part is, it can be used in its natural form at home too. If you have a plant at home you can directly squeeze out the gel from the aloe leave by cutting it open, or, buy aloe vera gel available in the market. The healing properties help in lightening the marks by soothing the skin and the tears in it.

After you squeeze out the gel, simply apply it on the affected area. Let your skin absorb the gel. You do not need to wash it off as it is not sticky and is extremely light. The best part is, it leaves the skin feeling smooth. Do this every day and you will see the marks fade away in a few days. To cool your skin the summer, store the gel in the refrigerator.

An unusual beauty ingredient but a rather effective one, potato is rich in starch and vitamins and helps in lightening skin tone as well as stretch marks. The juice of potato is very useful for this purpose. Being an easily available ingredient, you can do this anytime at home.

Simply, wash and peel a potato and then slice it into pieces. Rub a slice on the area where you have stretch marks. The juice will seep into your skin. Let it dry up on the skin and then wash it off with plain water. Apply a body lotion after the treatment. Do this twice a week and pretty soon you will see results.
